With the exception of a talented Texas songwriter, students and alumni of the Pine-Richland School District, outside of Pittsburgh, PA, wrote and recorded The Ornament’s entire score and soundtrack.


George Ensle

He earned songwriting awards from The American Song Festival, the Kerrville Folk Festival, the Music Umbrella and the Austin Songwriters Group.

Somethin' Tasty

courtesy Jess Marfisi & Somethin Tasty Somethin' Tasty blends many genres... including rock, blues, jazz, funk, reggae, pop, and whatever else moves them. The band honed its chops in venues ranging from high school stadiums to downtown Pittsburgh, PA clubs.

Danielle Gillis

Danielle is a seventh grade singer/songwriter. She has performed her original songs live before hundreds of people and to thousands more via her school district’s cable television station.

Niles Brandon

courtesy Niles Brandon Niles is an accomplished pianist and composer. In addition to creating The Ornament’s score, he also composed original music for stage plays as well.
The Pine-Richland High School graduate is also a founding member of the band, Somethin Tasty.
